My Journey to Becoming a Systems Administrator
Hi, I am Michael Petan, a Valencia College graduate with an AS in Cybersecurity and Network Engineering Technologies, and an aspiring Systems Administrator. My passion for technology and problem-solving is currently being honed in my role as a Lab Assistant at Valencia College, where I help students with IT-related challenges like virtualization, networking, and server installations. My academic background and practical experience have equipped me with a strong understanding of network configuration, cybersecurity principles, and system administration. Additionally, I have developed effective communication skills necessary to succeed in this field. As I look to the future, I aim to utilize my knowledge and skills to excel in Systems Administration, with a particular interest in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
